Wheel Chair with convertible hood

It rains a lot in Singapore. I can’t go out or go home when it rains. Can you please make a wheelchair with a convertible hood?

  1. A convertible hood will shield one not only from rain, but also very intense sunshine. Great idea that can readily be taken up by industry to develop further!

  2. im not sure if your aware of a product sold here in the USA called: The Weather Breaker but it is what your asking for to help keep you out of the rain. My son has a wheelchair and has one on his. The company has a patent on it and they are located in Chico, CA. Just looked at the co name on this storage bag it comes with. Please becareful it is not the same thing. It keeps rain and sun off the person in the wheelchair. It costs 160.00 but maybe you could redsigned it a little and get it less cost and that would be good. Good Luck...just didnt want you to get in trouble especially a student.

  3. A convertible hood plus the waterproof seating system (battery and joystick) are two great ideas! These two if combined will result to more productive and meaningful mobility!

  4. I thought about this idea too it so hard to push your chair and hold a umbrella I know there some out there that mount on wheelchair but can't put them down until take them off and they ugly they make u look like a golf cart but would not mind one I could pop up or down when needed as long as something that easily put up and down and can be stored on back of your chair I think it winner

  5. Definitely a good idea and will be beneficial for those who need it. Hope no one patents the idea and then makes it obscenely expensive to purchase.
