  1. I agree, and also make them more affordable, rather than them being a bit on the pricey side!! ie. - Wheel Chair cagool = £30.00+, but child plain cagool = £10.00, is this because its a specialist fit??

  2. My husband and I began a website with the hope of addressing some of these issues because we were struggling to find information and resources we needed to support our daughter who has cp. We aren't an online store but we hope to provide a central location for parents and caregivers (particularly of young children) to find access to information and resources related to cp. We launched our website companion facebook page in April. It's www.cpdailyliving.com.

  4. Shoes....I have cp and I have never found a pair of shoes I like that I can walk in because of the way I walk so a online shop that does stuff like that would be great!

  5. Agree...I'd enjoy a support group because it would be able to sit and talk to somebody who actually knows what youre going thru. I'm high functioning and am able to take care off myself...I play sports and stay active but the stigma will always be there!

    1. I do not know where you live. Here in the US I found a site called Meetup.com. Hundreds of "interest groups" set up by region. Some are quite honestly for singles to meet singles if you know what I mean. But others have been based religious, bar hopping, Autism social club and many more. You enter your interests, region and suggestions pop up. You can create the group too.

  6. I agree! It would be great if the website listed resources available in each state so that families with special needs know where to turn when they move to a new state or town.

  7. I would like this as well. Although our stuff would be so cool it should be for everyone not just people with CP but those with CP really need to have a place catered to their materialistic daily needs so I vote yes! Check us out we are idea #5. Heidi
